Who’s Crave-ing a Burger?

Apparently Crave has opened next to Chipotle at 29th and Pine Lake Road. The brand new burger joint brought to you by the folks at Hollenbeck Farms. Hamburger from Crave by Hollenbeck Farms (This photo is from Hollenbeck Farms, NOT Crave.) I don't know much about it other than what I was told by @OfeliaDuran on Twitter: "it was good! Definitely greasy but good". She also provided this photo of the menu board: Menu at Crave restaurant Unfortunately the photo service she used is a little goofy so that's the best quality I can show you. The menu shows several burgers, from the plain (Crave Burger, Crave Cheeseburger) to spiffier varieties (Stuffed Black and Bleu, Peanut Butter & Bacon). Prices are in the $6-$8 range per burger. A couple varieties of fries are available for $1.50-$3. Options for kids includes "buckets" with either a hot dog or grilled cheese ($6 I think, but the picture isn't clear kids meals are $5). The long and short of it is this is no McDonald's. Instead, Crave appears to be positioning itself more in the Five Guys realm but with a more refined touch. I limit my meat consumption so, although I will make it to Crave eventually, I'm not sure when it will happen. Please do let us know what you thought if you happen to stop by.

Kids meals should not be that expensive. My belief is that they shouldn’t really top $3-4 for the under 8 crowd.

That said, the burger looks good.

I added a note to the price of the kids meals to indicate that I can’t actually be certain what the sign says. It’s just too blurry for my eyes. I think it says $6.

I had the pleasure of having a Crave burger the day they opened and i must say, i was pleasantly surprised!
I had the #1 (HF Stuffed Pepper Jack) burger, and as I own Metro Dining Delivery, I can tell you they serve one of the best burgers I’ve had in Lincoln, especially for the price. I’ve since sampled a few different burgers and have yet to find one i didn’t like.
My favorite burger before HF Crave came to town was/is the Big Red Burger from Misty’s, and Crave has made me a changed man!
Go down there today, and tell them Metro Dining sent ya!
