We now know that American Idol will be holding auditions in Omaha, Do you know any Lincolnites who should audition? Do you know any who deserve to make it all the way to the competition?
I don't know Lincoln's music scene very well, but I do know one person I would love to see given a chance: Anna DeGraff. Can I get a second?

I heard Anna sing at the Zoo bar a couple of years ago and she was awesome. I’ll give you a second and a “hell yeah!”
My sisters boyfriend is going to audition. He’s pretty darn good. He tried out last year in Minneapolis, and apparently they said he was good enough but not what they were looking for that year. He didn’t get to meet the 3 headed monster though.
My brother might try out too…but he’s not good enough. He thinks he is but he’s not.
I’ll third anna, i’ll probably try out if i’m in town when the tryouts are here. I tried out once before, it’s really really all about the producers moods and all kinds of circumstances no one can control on the first day though.
As much as I agree with you, she is not trying out for the Omaha auditions unfortunately. I believe she is pursuing a professional career in opera instead.

that sounds legit, some people are too talented to waste time with garbage like american idol. I personally think it’s an affront to music, but is funny.
