I thought this was a hard one, but I see a number of folks piled on early and identified this location. It was indeed the historic Antelope Grocery building - also home of Reynolds Design and Remodeling - a stone's throw from Lincoln High near the intersection of J St. and Capital Parkway. Although JT specifically identified it as the old Antelope Grocery building, and West A Dad identified it as the home of Reynolds, Mike provided enough information to indicate that he knew the building and its location.
This means that if Mike is the first to correctly identify the next installment of this series, we will get him a pogocard.

See what your friends and neighbors have to say about this.
Looks like the building just east of Capital Parkway and J st.
That’s what I thought too. Corner of 24th and J.
Reynolds Kitchen Design. Mike and Gene FTW!!
Old Antelope Grocery. But what everybody else said, too.
Oh, man ....
The one day I don’t have time to get online and there is a place I recognize.
In the late 70’s I lived in one of the apartments upstairs. The railroad tracks were still being used along Capital Parkway, so 3 times every night you could hear the train whistle a block away ... After about 3 weeks I could sleep through most of them.
When I bike, this is on my way home from work. It’s one of the few I’ve been able to identify right away.
I lived in this building when I went to the UNL- it’s called the “Leroy” back in 1971 - GOOD TIMES!
I lived there in 1970 too. Are you an architect or a lawyer? I was an art student at UNL, lived in the corner apartment.
Go ahead and collect samples of what you want to eventually do in your home.
