Where in Lincoln is this?

By: Mr. T on November 3, 2008
image Although many people know this landmark by its distinctive pillars, no one seems to know what exactly this place is called! It is officially known as Near South Park, at 19th and A. Not to be confused with nearby Breta Park (for shame Nikkidemas!). The site was built on the location of the old Silas Holcomb house, and was donated to the city by the Near South Neighborhood Association. The pillars and bench were designed by Lincoln sculptor Michael Morgan.

Very cool fence in the near south neighborhood.

20th and A street. I believe it’s the fence on a daycare or around a playground.

Agreed with both of you.  It’s Breta Park on the South side of 19th & A.

They guy who does that art is a lousy tipper, but great artist.  From what I have heard he invented the soft brick process and has done pieces all across the country and world.  he likes English bitter ales.

I enjoyed some vals to go there once.  Very comfortable seats for being brick.
