Turco on Trial

By: Mr. Wilson on July 3, 2007
Ricky Turco has been ruled competent to stand trial for manslaughter in the death of Megan Churchill. I would love to sit on that jury. Not that I necessarily want to convict the guy. I just think this whole situation has been fascinating, and I would love to sit in on the jury discussions.

I’ll say it - I want to convict him.

In Todays’ Journal Star,
“Turco told Dr. Mario Scalora he was diagnosed with Attention Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder as a child.”

Yeah, and SO WHAT…...I too am diagnosed with ADHD but I don’t go around breaking into buildings and driving REPEATEDLY without a license.  Let alone causing the death of someone and then not even having the BALLS to admit when he’s wrong.

Maybe I am a bit too biased.  But I was brought up and always told to admit your mistakes and be ready to stand up and take whatever punishment is due.  Same goes for any praise as well.  Goes both ways.

But each and every time I see a story about this Jag-off he seems to have some NEW excuse for his mistakes.

GET A CLUE.  Be a MAN ((if THAT’S possible)), Stand up and take what’s coming to you.  Chances are you’l be locked up for a few years at the least.  But we all know that your lawyer will probably ask for a change of venue due to all the negative publicity that has happened surrounding this case.  Which will make your stay in jail even longer while you are awaiting for all of these court dates to take place.

Naomi, if you happen to read this, or one of your friends does.  Let him know what I and a lot of other people think…..... BE A MAN!!!!!!

I think if he does indeed go to prison, he’ll, uh, get what’s coming to him. And there, he’ll have to man up, or they’ll make him their… you know. In many ways, he and his “loved ones” have been their own worst enemies by being quote machines for the local media when they should have just used “no comment” at all times. I am sure there are tons of ADHD people that don’t do these things, just as I am sure that there are tons and tons of people and athletes that use steroids who DON’T snap and kill their wives and kids - I hate these things being used as excuses for terrible behavior.

Well Fletch, I have always been one to, at least, make an attempt to stand up and admit when I am wrong.  Whether that costs me a court fine, time in jail, or an argument with the better half.  ADHD just gives me an understanding of the sometimes quick decisions that I make occasionally.  But I AM smart enough to understand right from wrong.

And as for the prison thing????  He will probably NEVER see general population.  They’ll keep his happy-ass in protective custody after all the crap he has been saying.  Guys in prison don’t like blabbermouths like him.

Guess we’ll just have to wait “for the rest of the story”..........
