Comment Retort #1 Counter-retort Retort #2 Insinuation that retorter smells funny Denial of malodor ... and so onI would like to know if you folks think we should give that a try here on Lincolnite. I'm not going to state a preference one way or the other because I don't have a preference one way or the other. Besides, I'm not the one doing all of the commenting around here, you are. If there are feelings for or against the idea, I'd love to hear them. And if you just don't give a darn, I'd like to hear that, too.

See what your friends and neighbors have to say about this.
I’ve been on message boards that use them and I can’t say it makes a difference to me one way or the other. It wouldn’t bother me if you went that way and I’m comfortable with the way things work now.
If it leads to a cleaner design and more ease of function, I say go for it.
I would like to retort
I would be all for the new format. Sounds like fun.
I think it would be awesome. My above post was seeing if it was working now, guess not yet.
sometimes it makes it easier to follow a long conv. thread, but most of the time in here the talks stay pretty short. If its a learning experience for you by all means! I don’t mind being a guinea pig.
My Mother taught me that it was not polite to retort in public. But if I were the sort who did that type of thing, I probably would not care whether I retorted directly under someone else, or slightly off to the right of them.
For me, it really depends on how it is designed. If it was done as the site is now, the boxes would be pretty tiny after two threads.
But I don’t have anything against them.
What are these “retorts” that you speak of?
The new format would be great. 😊
Something like this, DKay?
