The Best Ribs in Lincoln Can Be Found At…

By: Mr. Wilson on August 10, 2009
In honor of Ribfest this week (Thursday thru Sunday), I want to know how you will finish the following sentence:
The best ribs in Lincoln can be found at _______
My current favorite ribs are at Paul's (48th and Pioneers). I had a batch of unbelievable ribs at Skeeter Barnes (56th and Old Cheney) a while back, but the ol' Skeeter isn't consistent enough to be the best. The ribs I had a Phat Jack's (4050 Cornhusker) at a fundraiser a few weeks ago were good, but I need to sample the in-store fare to really get a feel for where PJ should place. Have at it, Lincoln. Who makes the best ribs in town?

Just had my first Paul’s ribs for lunch today.  Very good indeed.

Why did that happen?  Because I didn’t issue the invite?

Anyone ever tried BBQ4U’s ribs?

Heh, yep. The ol’ website was angry with you so it goobered up your comment 😊

I fixed it for you.

Twice.  Both times they were very moist and tender as heck.  Not really a sauce on them though.  Spices are a bit different, but they are decent.  Not my fave, but good.

I love Pat’s BBQ on 14th and Superior.  He makes a great dry rub and some mean BBQ sauce for the rest of his food!  Give it a try if you like ribs.  Bonus if you live near him he delivers.  Mmmmmm Delivered ribs are the best!!!!

My vote is for Paul’s.  I do like BBQ4U as well, but IMHO Paul’s just does it right.

Sorry to disagree- but NEVER had nothing but awesome ribs at Skeeter’s.  Flavor is off the chart and not hidden with sauce!

They bring some down to the lunches at Duffy’s on thurs and friday and I tried them once.  Darn decent for sure.
