It's still a little difficult for me to picture what Antelope Valley will look like 20 years from now, but this first hint sure is nice to see.

...sell its downtown headquarters to the state for $12 million.
All was good until I read this. Why is the state buying a building for 12 million dollars? We don’t already have enough downtown property that had a purpose only to lose it’s purpose (like the parking lots that were suppose to house a grand hotel…)

Maybe the state plans to use it as an actual office building.
