Short Film Lovers, Show Your Stuff

The Mary Riepma Ross Media Arts Center in Lincoln will host nonprofit organization NIFP (Nebraska Independent Film Projects) in an audience walk-in screening event. MAD MOVIE NIGHT will feature short films classic and new. Registration starts at 6PM on Wednesday, November 14th, 2007. NIFP members and the general public are STRONGLY encouraged to bring their new or classic short films under 7 minutes to screen and discuss. The only accepted formats for this event are DVDvideo discs or miniDV cassette tapes. Admission is free,basic membership to use NIFP rental kits is only $10 a year. Door prizes include free passes to the Ross Theater, blank DVD media, bulk mini DV tape, and Middle of Nowhere festival t-shirts. The audience choice award winner will be given 2 free rental weekends to access NIFP's light kit,sound kit and 2 camera kits to help make their next masterpiece even better! Participants are asked to please keep films rated R at worst, no porn, hate crimes,or gardening shows please.
