I realize I don't drive nearly as much as many of you do. But in my travels around town I haven't noticed very many gaping potholes so far this spring. There have been a few, sure; there always will be. Yet all of the most substantial holes on all the routes I frequent have been patched pretty quickly.
Have your tires been eaten by any potholes this spring? Have you noticed any persistent problem spots the City has missed?

It’s been a few days since i’ve been paying attention, but there were a bunch on 27th street south of A street all the way down to just about hwy 2. Also, A street between 27th and 17th can be pretty bad, although i’ve noticed that they try to fix them, but it looks like really crummy work. Now that I have a much smaller car I notice the bumps a lot more, and am less-and-less satisfied with the quality of lincolns streets. I know having drivable roads is not a priority for nebraskans, but i’m paying taxes and want decent roads.
there was a HUGE pothole near the Arby’s at 27th and Hwy. 2. I swear it had to be at least 18” deep.
I was pretty surprised that they hit some potholes around park middle school. They were nothing big, but to be hitting side streets impressed me.
I’ve not really encountered as many as usual this season.
Adams Street, from 56th to about 63rd is one long strip of potholes. The intersection of Holdrege and 70th is bad also.
I’ve used this street service request Link to request pothole repairs in the past.

The last time I used it they where out within a week. 😊
I noticed the other day that Capitol Parkway (now Rosa Parks Way) is littered with potholes.
Lincoln Mall west had some holes filled, but they are breaking up again.
