The talk of the town this week is Husker football's 300th consecutive sellout at Memorial Stadium. I'll be there. Will you?
I'm trying to guess how many of the 300 sellouts I've attended. I'm going to put it at about 55-60. Many of those came during college thanks to cheap student tickets and then four years of marching band. How many games have you been to?

See what your friends and neighbors have to say about this.
I would put myself somewhere in the 45-55 range as well.
My last game attended was the Oklahoma game in 2001. Total attendance was around 140 games. Best game was 1978 beating OU. Worst game was the next week losing to Missouri.
I grew up you might say in that stadium and have some very good memories. Rode my big-wheel down the ramps. Learned to drive a car and a motorcycle also. Had a heat stroke one summer working the football school.
This is my 16th football season in Lincoln. I make it to at least one game most years. Some years, two. A couple of years it might even have been three. So I’m going to say I’ve averaged 1.5 for a total of 24, including this Saturday’s 300th sellout. BTW, my father-in-law is seriously kicking himself for agreeing way last spring to go to a Royals game this Saturday before he checked the football schedule. Oh well, his loss is my gain!
I’m not a Husker fan in the least sense, but Husker Nation deserves respect and congratulations for this achievement. 300 straight sellouts would be impressive for a baseball team, which plays 81 games at home every year. For this streak to be going for 40 years is almost unbelievable.
... it would be completely unbelievable in a state where there was actually something else to do.
😉
1-2 games a year starting around 1998, so approx. 10-15 for me.
I’ll also be at this Saturday’s game. Look for me, Mr. Wilson & meatball - I’ll be the one wearing red.
I’ll be the one wearing red.
Ha! You’ll stand out like a sore thumb. True fans wear scarlet.

And don’t forget, Dave, “the N is for Knowledge”! Hahaha. (Sure wish people would come up with some new stuff…)
