Let’s Eat

By: Mr. Wilson on February 8, 2008
Mr. T, Moses, and I will be at Burrito Shack (approx. 9th and M) today at 12:45. If any of you would like to stop in and enjoy some tasty grub, I'd love to say hi. Also, The Missus, Robbie, and I will probably drop by Duggan's on Sunday to honor George Landolt's memory with some mass taco consumption. We haven't decided when we'll go, but it some of you want to go as a group, we'd be happy to meet up with you.

Bummer! I probably would have joined you had I known, but I can’t now. Sorry, it would have been nice to meet you in person Mr. Wilson (I’ve already met Mr. T and Moses).

By the way, good choice. I love the Burrito Shack!

And the rest of you missed your chance to make me poor.  Chipotle shrimp soup on a bed of rice was very nice…..

I have to jump on board one of these deals sometime. That may blow the whole image of Fletch, though. LOL

I gotta say, I’m in the minority on Burrito Shack.  Maybe it was the extra $1.50 I paid for a couple tablespoons of canned refried beans topped with parmesan cheese (wtf?) after the owner suggested I upgrade to a meal.  Maybe it was blandness of the meat in my burrito and lack of any kind of sauce.  Maybe it was the $5 I spent for something with half the size and flavor of a burrito I can get at at least six other places for less money.

Swoof, I hear ya,

I see why there is support, I too want to garner my unbiased support.

Still Eat there and you will be satisfied…...

He does plan on having a satellite location in the atrium or another similar location, plus has catering contracts with locations like Duncan.

I wish them the best cuz it is darn decent, very well produced, fresh and spicy food.

I have to say I really do think his chicken fajita style burrito is good. Its a very unique offering here in town.

Its true it is smaller than other burritos you can get in town, but at some of those other places the burritos are partially filled with beans and rice.

Ditto, the chicken fajita-style burrito is the way to go, it’s unique and full of awesomeness.

I prefer the serving size as compared to other places. While I like those burritos that are as big as your head, that’s just way too much food and I’m too big a glutton not to eat what’s in front of me. I will still go to Oso for an enormous and delicious burrito from time to time, so it’s all good.

I always get a mini burrito from OSO.  It is just right.
