It’ll Be Easy ... In Two Years

By: Mr. Wilson on July 18, 2008
I see Lincoln is due to greet its first Staples in 2010 near 50th and O. I have never been in a Staples. Should I be excited, or is it just another run-of-the-mill office supply store?

Staples is nothing fancy, it’s just like Office Max/Depot.

However I love their copy center. Insert credit card at copy machine, make copies, and leave. No waiting in line, it’s quick, and 3 cents per copy.

Just be sure to eject the credit card when finished…I almost forgot.

I wonder if the delay is to wait for Office Depot, which will be just feet away, to go out of business.

I occasionally browse the one in North Platte when I’m driving in that area. Similar to Office Max and Office Depot as said above, but Staples generally have pretty decent clearance deals every now and then. Been looking forward to the addition of a Staples in Lincoln to further fuel my bargain hunting addiction. Too bad it won’t be for a couple more years.

You may need to seek counseling for an office supply buying problem, Tyler. 😉

How long does it take to build a metal box?

The nice thing about STAPLES vs. Office Max or the “other” one… YOU ACTUALLY GET YOUR REBATES IN LESS TIME than indicated. Another words, they don’t rip you off and pay you a year later.

And their prices are WAY more competitive. I’d say they are the Walmart of the Office/Tech retail stores. Good selections on EVERYTHING (if the store is large enough) and it seems that area would have a MEGA Staples. Yes!!!

Funny they would put it there as it will be a block or two from the Office Depot across from Best Buy.

Haha, its not so much of an office supply buying problem, but more of a anything-at-a-great-price buying problem. I’m a sucker for an incredible deal, I tell you.
