This one's for Dave K:
Public employees + public equipment = private funds? I don't think so. That's why I agree with Attorney General Jon Bruning's opinion that the Nebraska Historical Society's "private" account must be made public.
I wonder how often that sort of thing happens in government. I'm going to guess: Often.

I just died a little inside ...
Never fear, though, as the Bruninghaters are out in full force in the comments section. I’m going to keep an eye on those comments and see what, other than nonsensical ramblings, they come up with.

Wait, I thought no one here could agree with Dave K on anything. I’m so confused.

I wish I could get the same treatment you all give Ernie Chambers and Chuck Hagel —have everything I say be called ‘creative’, ‘unique’, and ‘thought-provoking’. That I’m just ‘Bringing the bigger issues into sight’, etc. I guess I’ll have to accept that I’m just someone that no one agrees with. Boo hoo. :(

Both Chuck and Ernie are creative, thoughtful, and experienced mavericks who bring the bigger issues into sight. As for you Dave, unfortunately, no one here really agrees with your views. If you want to be heard, try giving Columbia a call.

Mr. T, we’ve already established no one agrees with my views. I just want to get some love for that, like Chuck and Ernie.
Neal, your inability to detect sarcasm from other people is your Achilles Heel.

But isn’t sarcasm supposed to be funny or have a point? Maybe my sarcas-o-meter is just looking for the wrong clues.
