Have any of you had a chance to try out Greenfield's, the IHOP replacement at 87th and Highway 2? I intend to try it soon, but I have been saying that for a few weeks now. My main hesitation -- aside from just forgetting about it -- is the lack of buzz. The restaurant opened to some fanfare when it was revealed it would feature "Garden Cafe-style" potato casseroles. The fanfare hasn't continued.
So have you been there yourself? Have you heard about Greenfield's from friends or family who have gone? Let us know how it is holding up.

My bro and I meet for breakfast on Saturdays, spreading the business out between about four places. Just for the heck of it we tried Greenfields about two or three weeks ago.
For your standard breakfast fare the prices are pretty high. I splurged and got one of their skillets and it was awesome! Their coffee is superb too.
Overall, I have to give them high marks. But I won’t go very frequently because of the cost.
Jeff Korbelik had the same beef with them.
After reading this we gave it a try this weekend.
We both found it to be ordinary. Prices were similar to Village Inn or Perkins. Food was not quite as good as VI but better than Perkins.
It was very busy and the staff was attentive but a little inexperienced but overall was very good. For the money I would rather go to Cook’s, or Tina’s, or Engine House, or TR’s Garden, or Virginia’s Traveler Cafe.
My skillet was better than any V.I. skillet I’ve had, but I can’t vouch for their standard breakfast fare.
