I have heard a fair bit of murmurring about this topic lately, with several people arguing that it will (or should) cost Mayor Seng her job in the next election. I wonder what you folks think, so here's your topic:
Resolved: Fire Chief Mike Spadt should be fired.

I think being a completely inept and worthless hack should cost Seng her job, not only one decision such as firing the fire chief. I never thought anyone could make Don Wesely look like a hero, but Seng has astonishingly accomplished that task. I’m pretty sure Mikey Kelley could have been a better leader for this city than Seng.
Spadt should have been fired long ago when he bullied his way into taking a profitable business away from free enterprise and turn it (the ambulance service) into a money-losing taxpayer-funded venture.
The voters get the blame for that one though.
If anyone should have been fired over Spadt it should have been Wesely.
