Ding Ding, Ding Ding

Would you believe an ice cream van made its way through our neighborhood last night? I could hardly believe it. Robbie and I were outside playing in the front yard and checking out the moon and stars when we heard it. Since it was just about time for Robbie's evening snack I was even going to buy something. Then the van zoomed by without a bit of hesitation. So much for that.

That’s just bad marketing to ring your dinger, then not slow down to actually sell to some folks.

The exact opposite happens in our neighborhood. They have been going through all winter long on any weekend day that gets above freezing. They make about 5 laps around the block at 2mph. I don’t want my daughter to hear the bell, so (like a dog) I think they smell fear.

Have you read the Chief’s blog yet this morning?  Most unfortunate timing.

the ice cream van flies through my neighborhood too! he NEVER does UNDER 40 MPH, seriously. i don’t think they’re selling “ice cream” per se. there’s a different “product” in those vans. LOL! (especially over here in the 33rd/Apple/27th hood. 😛
