Dear LPS

Dear LPS, We had an agreement. We agreed that our boy wouldn't be permitted to [activity redacted]. This morning you allowed him to [activity redacted] without our permission. What part of "No" was unclear? Why did you deliberately undermine our parental authority? I'm unhappy. Sincerely, Mr. Wilson

Our oldest is at LPS for a couple reasons. The first is that he is presently a foster child and it’s not common for foster children to be permitted to go into a homeschooling situation. The second is that he has special needs that are better served in a public school environment.

So in fact we are a mixed-schooling family: two at home (pre-school, kindergarten) and one at LPS.

I hate it when my kids are allowed to [activity redacted]. I mean, you try to [activity redacted] them right, but it seems that no matter what you do, they end up [activity redacted].

Oh Mr. Wilson…it is just that the system as a whole does not think you and your wife truely KNOW what is good for your children.  You may have good intentions but THEY have spent years raising other peoples children and truely do know more than you on what is supposed to be in your kids head.  Duh, havn’t you see the great results?  Have you not see conplete states in financial turmoil?  Oh wait…I mean how great California, Michigan, and others have managed their budgets and school systems.

Obviously being sarcastic…Always find it interesting that many of these states have PUBLIC university’s and schools that teach economics, even basic math that our young children know how to do, and yet somehow they totally fail to do basic economics, ie, spend less than they make.
