I noticed today that Planet Sub will be moving into the location vacated by Kep's Sporting Goods on P Street downtown. It's an awfully big storefront for what appears to be a fairly simple deli, so it'll be interesting to see how they fill up all of that space. Looks like they're shooting for an April opening.

I am looking forward to this place. So long as they don’t serve salt lick-like spreads; overly battered seafood; and over-powering way-too-much-citric-acid stuffed grape leaves. But I do know a good place in Tacoma, WA.

Anyway - Another sandwich joint? Danny’s Deli, Brown Baggers, Doozy’s and the natl sandwich chains are already in downtown. Someone should open a White Castle franchise in downtown. That would be awesome. Their fish sandwiches are very tasty.
