I'm skeptical, but it's possible that the arrival of gas from Sam's Club could lead to lower gas prices throughout Lincoln. Only Sam's Club members would be able to purchase the gas. I have a hard time seeing the effects ripple much beyond the North 27th Street corridor. But hey, if my local stations at 48th and Highway 2 want to drop their prices because of pressure from 6 pumps at 27th and Superior, I'm certainly not going to complain.

I am a Sam’s Club member, and I will go there for gas if 1) The gas is discounted enough to make the drive up there worth it, 2) The gas is discounted enough to make the aggravation of going to Sam’s Club worth it.
But if the presence of cheaper gas there brings the gas down everywhere else, then I will be happy.

we are thinking of investing in a sams club membership, but I doubt I would buy gas from them. The local ustop is just too convenient.

I have always envisioned owing a pub and having a wall of pickled products. Kind of like on Ladies Man. And folks would get a punch card, and once they eat one of every pickled item they would get a free shirt.

I love that I hardly ever have to buy gas. And I really do not care much about gas prices. Plus I would feel bad if the CEO of a big oil co had to settle for a sterling silver faucet in his 37th bathroom instead of the solid gold one.

my uncle just bought the Canon XTi a couple months ago, and he’s already won several photography contests ... he’s never owned a camera, or ever been interested in photography until he saw some of the stuff i could do with my camera.
the camera is amazing. i, myself, am a NIKON fan, but i Canon makes a hellova product as well (you can’t get a Nikor lense w/ a Canon though) 😉

if Sam’s Club gets gas, then i’ll get a membership. i’ve needed another reason other than being able to buy a bucket of eggrolls and cream puffs ... gas would definitely rope me in, being that im only two miles from Sam’s on 27th.
Jake - That sounds encouraging. If not the XTi than the XT (just because I am a little strapped for cash now). Either way, I’ve heard great things about both.
We use a Canon XTI at work and I love it!
It’s not Nikon, mind you, but it’s a real nice camera. Very intuitive.
