Catalyst One Lives!

According to the mayors office, the City of Lincoln has received a proposal for the development of City-owned land on the south side of "Q" Street between 13th and 14th streets. The proposal includes retail and residential space as well as public parking. We've heard that song before so we'd best not hold our collective breath. Still, I for one am willing to hold out a tiny bit of hope that a project at that site will come to fruition sooner rather than later. Here's hoping for a 2011 start date!

Boy 10/11 is really on the ball with breaking news. The mayor’s office sent out a press release on that at the end of August, and it was in the Journal Star on Aug. 29.
I could have sworn I had already seen that somewhere. But I don’t think I blogged it. Did I? If so, this Monday is starting out worse than I thought…
I hope it’s as big of a plan. I was really looking forward to a positive change in our skyline.
