Yep, they do all tie together. In fact, that’s part of the trick to the puzzle—the clues are much easier if you know how they tie together, but to understand how they tie together, you have to know the answers to at least a few of the clues. Evil, I know.

Huzzah! We have a winner! Fletch correctly guessed (via e-mail) that the clues refer to the Lincoln marathon route.
