After You Smarter Than the Farmer’s Almanac?

By: Mr. Wilson on January 2, 2008
According to the Journal Star, last year's weather pretty typical, in your standard atypical way. Who dares to make a prediction about this year's weather? Can you beat the Farmers' Almanac? Speaking of the almanac, they say Nebraska will face "stormy" conditions between the 20th and 23rd of this month. Get ready for some scooping.

3 degrees this morning was enough to take the wife up on her offer for a ride.

The side streets are still really bad for us bike folk.  I need some tires made from salt 😉

20th through the 23rd? Perhaps UNL will be closed and it will make for a four day weekend!

I wake up every day thinking global warming is going to kill me by the end of the day, but if I were to predict the weather for the year, I’d say it’s going to spectacularly predictable. It will be cold in the winter, mild in the spring, hot in the summer, and cool in the fall.
One year from now (that is, if the polar ice caps haven’t melted and we’re not all under 200 feet of water), I will look back on this prediction and claim brilliance.

I look back on every Lincolnite post I make and claim brilliance. 😉
