9 South Chargrill, at 9th and South, will "soft" open next Friday. "The menu will run the gamut from burgers and steaks to duck and veal." Duck and veal? Sounds like an odd menu choice for that location, but hey, I'm intrigued. Maybe owner Brett Richardson will add venison to the menu someday. Mmmm.

cool. That was pretty fast. Always look forward to some good food near by that does not come from a chain. And if they do eventually get a liquor license I can guarantee a bunch of stinky, sweaty, dirty, and thirsty bikers would frequent that joint.
They better have bacon.
I saw in the paper but do not see it online that wasabi is going to move into phreddy’s phillys on a temp basis. I guess the location on 10th and N might not happen. Would of been a horrible place for a resturant if you ask me.
I think it sounds interesting. Driving buy, it looks so small. Maybe I just didn’t get the full view of the place. It would have been easier to use the vacant restaurant a block away - it’s a shame that thing still sits empty. I like the look of the new place though. I hope it works.

I think the sign at the 10th & N says it’s not opening until this summer. So I’m guessing the temp location is just that, until the new spot’s ready.
