Talk about timing. Just as Lincoln was talking about putting water use restrictions in place, Mother Nature goes and dumps rain right on the Platte River, helping to refresh Lincoln's wells. Which means, I suppose, that for now you are free to go about wasting water as you wish.

Unfortunately, the state is still screwed due to the myriad of problems that have led to the Republican River compact debacle, some of which also have direct implications for the Platte basin as well.
I was all bothered about water restrictions.
Then I realized I live in an apartment and take 5 minute showers any ways. And I always drink bottled water. I am a water conserving machine.
