Looks like I'll be out of town for a while, so I won't be able to get to Planet Sub again any time soon for a follow-up. Has anybody had a chance to check in to see if things have improved? Any positive stories to share yet?

I ate there for lunch on Monday. I got my sandwich in about 15 minutes, and it was quite tasty.

One of my officemates ate there on Thursday around 12:15. He got his sandwich in 10 minutes but right around that time they also ran out of bread. I’m guessing the bread shortage might be the root of their problems and it doesn’t look like they’ve yet figured out how to make more than they think they’ll need.

I ordered delivery and was told the car was brokedown. So I picked it up myself for a 10% discount. I received my order within minutes of arriving. We order one of each of the feature sandwhiches in the Ground Zero article and I was impressed by none of them. What struck me most was the cheapness of the meat which for my money is the fore-front of sandwhich goodness.

I’ve been there and it was quick enough, and fairly tasty, though I still prefer Doozy’s.
There’s been a 2 for 1 coupon in the Daily Nebraskan for the last two weeks- two subs for $4 ain’t bad.
