It’s difficult to pick one favorite.

I like Vincenzo’s because the food is excellent, the atmosphere and service are great and it’s a unique, locally owned, restaurant.  The chicken or salmon soto is to die for.

I also like The Oven for some of the same reasons.

Lee’s Chicken get a nod for nostalgic reasons.  It’s a step back in time when you go there, the food is good and it’s a Lincoln landmark.  Try the chicken fried chicken.

1.  the oven:  the food is of consistently high quality, their fusion menu is innovative, and the service and atmosphere are great.

2. shogun:  fun sushi=good

3. blue orchid:  i admit it.  their food is effin’ delicious.

4. pho nguyen:  pho is great for hangovers, and this warm little restaurant feels like home

5. super taco:  sausage tortas…mmmm….

1. oso, I just can’t get enough chum tacos
- quality pretty much sums it up for me.

2. staufers cafe and pie shop.
- sure it is old folk food, but it is good and filling.
- hot beef looks like soup with all the gravy

3. El Charro
- killer salsa
- not blan, refried beans filled with peppers and spices

4. M&N
- juicy

5. did I mention OSO?

I should throw the Thai House into the mix.  Great food and a great lunch deal.

Good call beerorkid!  M&N and Stauffer’s are also two of my favorites.

Man, are we all Stauffer’s junkies? I’m always the youngest in the place; where are y’all?

pretty much.  Wife loves the hot beef.  i mix it up, but the chicken fried steak is the best.

On my site many a time ago I had a page about the best bacon cheese burger in town.  Stauffers won hands down back then.  Unfortunately when they moved to the new location they started going with frozen patties.  It is average now :(

Wife loves the hot beef.

Oh man.

Don’t know about best restaurant, but best sandwich place has to be highnooner’s. Why? Friendly service, nice atmosphere, nice choices of both bread and fillings. For instance, they have croissant sandwiches as well (you have to ask because its not on the bags). The chicken salad has walnuts, and they have both cucumbers and sprouts as toppings too.

Close second goes to Danny’s Deli. Danny is a really nice guy too.
