Jones Coffee Opens

By: Mr. T on June 14, 2007
Noticed today that Jones Coffee at 11th and G is now open. Apparently it opened sometime earlier this week, but I didn't notice it until walking back from work tonight. One of the owners left a note here earlier in the year with a description, and it sounds pretty cool. Score for me I only live a stone's throw away. This neighborhood could use a nice wireless coffee place, and I like their ethics. I have a feeling it will probably be popular with the students in the area and others who like coffee and locally-owned business. I'll try and head over there this weekend.

I ride down G every day on my massive 1.1 mile commute.  Prob passed each other a few times.

Just starting to drink bean water a bit more often, although I enjoy the cappuccino and weaker fancy bean waters.

I noticed it was open on the bus ride home yesterday.  I work a block or two away, so I’ll check it out one of these days.  Sounds great by the description.

I know Deb, one of the co-owners, she’s truly a sweet gal. Let her sell you 3-4 cups coffee. 😉

Walked down to Jones Coffee this morning.  What a great place!  And Gene is right, Deb is really nice. We had a pleasant conversation and the place has a great vibe.  I’ll be back a lot.
