Fresh Air

By: Mr. Wilson on September 16, 2009
I don't know about you, but I'm loving this weather we've been having. In particular, sleeping with the windows open at night has been sheer bliss. I can't remember ever sleeping with the air conditioner off for so many days in a single summer. Maybe your sleep patterns are different, but I find that I wake up far more rested when I sleep in a cool room with the window open. Not only that, but I have better dreams as well. Then again, I've always been a dreamy guy. Let's kick up the Lincolnite version of the Farmer's Almanac. What say you, Lincolnites: what does our calm and (relatively) cool summer weather say about what we can expect for this winter?

We put a mega fan up to suck the air through the house and I freeze at night.  Is nice to sleep with lots of blankies though.

Not ready to think about winter yet though.

My prediction is based mostly on wishful thinking, but I think we’re going to get a record amount of snowfall this winter.

since global warming is a farce and global cooling is what we should be focused on (i’ll keep saying it until my fellow scientists wise up) this winter will be SHEER HORROR. prepare yourself; we are one step closer to ANOTHER ice age (the most recent one was a 5-yr period about 20-30 yrs ago).

I predict slightly above average temperatures, and 5” or more above average snowfall.

You see Jim Flowers? I can do this just as well as you do, and I don’t get paid a dime?

Awesome. You should be a TV weatherman.

I predict 27-30” of total snowfall for the winter. DO NOT look to see what our average snowfall is. 😉
