OK, folks, let's dump out those rain gauges and compare. I'm near 48th and Highway 2, and mine shows about 1.6 inches of the wet stuff. Who among you got the most rain last night? Did anybody see any large hail? If we had hail here, I slept through it.
It looks like we could be in for another bumpy ride tonight. Keep your eyes on the radar this evening.

I can’t find my guage. It rained a lot. No other noticable problems.

As far as I know - it didn’t rain at all at my house. 😉
I had 2 inches in my gauge but I don’t remember if I had previously emptied the 1/4 inch that was in there.
Where do you get those? I have actually been looking for a good backyard rain gauge and can’t find one!
My parents probably have about 300 of them they got free along with yard sticks and rubbery coin holders from various banks and insurance agencies in the ‘80s, but I am left wanting.
Any hardware or garden store should have them. Drug stores might have them if you look really close. Heck, I think Hy-Vee even stocked them at one point.
Or you could steal one from your parents.
