A Bridge Made of People

I can't say that I'm giddy over the design, but the new mural adorning the skywalk on 12th Street near O Street is an interesting idea that played out well. I had to laugh, though, when artist Larry Roots said
When I was looking at this bridge and trying to transform it into something else, I thought it could represent, literally, a human bridge.
A human bridge? Now that would have been cool.

I really like it a lot. So much better than those bikes.

I’d love to see profiles of all the people featured on the bridge.

PS: The more I see it (that is, every single day) the more I like it. It blends in pretty well, but is interesting to look at. I’ll upgrade my previous grade of “meh” to “thumbs up.”

I haven’t seen it in person - from the photo in the paper, my first thought was, “Ugh - that’s hideous.” Maybe I’m just not a good patron of the arts.

Well for once someone has done something to try and make downtown a little more palatable.  Other than placing huge rocks someplace and calling the “art”  Now let’s all get to work and try to beautify that white elephant called the “Centrum”.  A HUGE box in the middle of some interesting architecture.  Any ideas????
