When I saw the headline "Chambers wants electric chair" this morning, the first thing I thought was: And plenty of Nebraskans want to grant him his wish. Then I read the article. Oh, that's different.

I may not always agree with Ernie’s tactics but I miss his presence in the legislature. He’s got to be one of the most brilliant politicians in the history of NE. I think the death penalty out to be outlawed but that’s a story for another time.

Has anybody read the GQ article on Nebraska’s Safe Haven Law? It has some interesting stuff on Ernie.
