The Benator
Amendment 1 - I lived in a small Nebraska town when I first graduated from college. It was in the community’s best interest to pursue a nonprofit organization to relocate to this town and that’s what the development corporation did. If this amendment had been in place, it would have made the process of bringing new jobs to the community a lot easier. I think this is a neat way to foster economic development and reward the nonprofit sector at little to no cost to the taxpayer.
