Now THIS is an inspired Friday afternoon diatribe by a bored office worker
The fact that Evolution is being debated is killing the core of scientific theory (emphasis of theory). There is no debate; it is a proven and indisputable fact that Evolution dictates the path by which organisms go towards (I have seen it firsthand in the lab). AIDS, the avian influenza – they both can only be met from an Evolutionary standpoint. If we deny the right for people to learn the one true constant in science, then the core of the scientific process will be eroded and the politics of ignorance will reap the results of massive destruction. The argument is more than about the debate for Evolution, it revolves around the basic tenants of scientific theory that has caused the human to advance in remarkable ways. This is a debate about science; it is a classic debate about relativism vs. absolutism. It is very difficult from someone of a non-science background to understand this. In essence, this is the most important issue because it will shape the way our society advances in the wake of increasing population growth, increased density of life threatening illnesses, eradication of our natural resources, the blatant inclusion of religiosity in social constructivism – the only thing that is hopeful is the fact that science advance as quickly as we begin to face these apocalyptic occurrences in the next decades. Evolution is more than biological; it is also a power sociological theory that discusses how people and society will advance to preserve their species. Is it luck that the male and female having these complicated mating rituals that ensure the woman maintains resources and the man is ensured sex, or is it form of Darwinian Socialization that allows reproductive success to be met by an evolution of social constructs. Is homosexuality an aberrant behavior, or is it a means of preserving the population, knowing that the human
race CANNOT sustain this growth. Everything that we do can and should be looked at about how this fits under the principles of Darwinism and reproductive success. I hope you can understand this, because it is more important than you can imagine. I have one final and difficult question to ponder – Is terrorist behavior predicable under Social Darwinism? My answer is perhaps. Scary – I know – but reality. The public understanding of these issues is more needed than ever.

I like how the whole thing is one paragraph as though it actually represents a single, consistent idea. A classic stream-of-consciousness rant that should never have been sent. The atrocious grammar, the pervasive illogic… It’s all so beautiful.

One of the top 10 best rants I’ve read in a while. I don’t even think I’m capable of ranting like this anymore. It definitely made my week.
