Kudos to the New York Times
Today the Times has a pretty good, and relatively extensive article about the Judith Miller case. I imagine it must be pretty embarrassing (although admirable) to first admit that you have a reporter writing less than solid articles about WMD, and then reveal how she had the ability to - according to the Times - “run amok” with little editorial supervision. Juan Cole also offered interesting - though clearly partisan - thoughts on the case in last week’s Salon.com (the ad pass allows you full access for several hours if you don’t have a subscription).
