Big Bitch
A good friend of mine lives on the gulf coast of Florida south of Tallahassee and is planning on riding this sucker out (he lives in a high rise apartment and a friend is letting him park his car in their garage). With all the attention given to New Orleans (and rightfully so) it should also be kept in mind that when this hits its going to affect the entire Southeast.
I’ve been to New Orleans before and had a great time. It was a wonderful city. Lets hope it gets through this.

Heh, “Big Bitch.” I like it. As a weather-watcher I’m intrigued to see if the hurricane will do all that it’s capable of doing. In particular, it will be an ominous sign of an uncertain future if New Orleans is unable to hold back the floodwaters.
By the way, it’s good to see you back and posting, Mr. T! I’m glad to see that the hole in your gut isn’t keeping you down.

As I head off to bed things don’t look good for New Orleans. Here’s wishing good luck to a city that, without some, could be one helluva mess a mere twelve hours from now.

Man this is one of those things that makes you sort of re-evaluate your entire world. My thoughts and prayers are to all the people down there. Sometimes it seems like the entire world is fucked.
