Everything is coming up Manga in our first annual Teen Summer Reading Program Kickoff! Our presenter, Audrey, will define Manga by presenting its history, basic tools, and the basic rules for the anatomy and stylistic distinctions of Manga drawing in comparison to American comics. She will supply book recommendations, show examples and there will be guided drawing practice. The library will provide paper and fine point pens, but participants are welcome to bring their own drawing equipment. This event is supported by the Bennett Martin Public Library Teen Advisory Board. Chips and salsa provided by Chipotle. A Teen Summer Reading Program event.
