This morning at work I was craving a reuben from Manhattan Deli.  I made my way down to the Haymarket at about 12:30 and was shocked to find that the deli was closed.  The doors were closed, it was dark inside, and all of the chairs were up on the tables.  Does anyone know if this was just a fluke?  I’m hoping that they aren’t closed for good.  If anyone has any news on that I would appreciate it.

How many of you eat at Manhattan Deli?  Hopefully they are doing OK business, when I’m there it’s not too terribly busy most of the time, but boy do they have good food.

I haven’t heard anything one way or the other. I haven’t ever made it down there (too many other restaurants between work and there), but I’ve heard good things about it.

Manhattan Deli is a good place for a great sandwich.  They also have other fun stuff to eat like pierogis and cheesecake.  The owner and employees are friendly.  I recommend it, absolutely!
