Two are in South stadium (away from the student section, if that’s a concern). The other four are some of the best seats you’ll ever have, on the 47 yard line in the East balcony. All six are available for face value. (Face value is about $50, but I can’t remember for sure right now.) I prefer to sell them in pairs, if possible.

And just some LASA ranting here: though I always enjoy playing soccer, this was definitely the most stale season of LASA I’ve yet to play.  With the exception of last night’s game and one other, we won all of our games by at least three goals.  If they continue to charge 80 dollars per session, the league is going to go the way of the Dodo bird in not too much time.  I know a lot of quality players, and a team or two, that didn’t play this session because it’s so expensive.  They want the league to be sanctioned, but it’s time to get real.  I’ve also never encountered so much animosity between teams.  Bricktop are about the only team I enjoyed playing against this season.  The guys on Ropers/Woodhouse and a couple of the other teams just seemed like they came to the field looking to bitch about something.

Oh well.  I don’t have any solutions.  I just hope the league doesn’t degrade any further.

Lincolnite regular Dave K had a close encounter of the cleated kind yesterday, when the opposing goalkeeper in a Lincoln Adult Soccer Association match decided to take out some frustration with a kick to his gut. The goalkeeper got sent to the parking lot, and Dave K got buckled in half. Fortunately, LASA is much more mellow than it used to be, so the teams exchanged words, but nobody else got themselves kicked out. But boy, if that had happened up in Omaha in one of their Latino League matches…

I’ll let Dave K fill in the details on why the goalkeeper didn’t care for him, if he so chooses. I know what I saw from my position as assistant referee (nothing much), and I know what the goalkeeper claimed happened. But what’s the truth, Dave? Inquiring Lincolnites want to know! grin
