Things just aren’t as Rosie now
With Rose out for the foreseeable future, Sharpe I’m guessing will fill in for the rest of the year.
Now’s the time to talk replacements. Well, it might not be the time. But this is cyberspace and blogging and dag nabbit, topics get old fast. And its a duty of ours for rampant speculation and wild accusations.
Ok, so who’s it gonna be? Sharpe? Kugler?

I’m not nearly educated enough on this topic to have a real opinion, but I will say that I thought Sharpe did a good job on Saturday. Still, I know somebody who could do it better ...
DMB for PxP!

I’d have to say, it would be a pay raise.
I’ve done a couple games from time to time (19 to be exact)
I’m perfect for the job.

I’d like to see Kugler get the gig, or back to Gary Sharpe (not to be confused with Greg Sharpe that just did the KU game).
I thought Gary was excellent here, and it’s too bad that he was a threat to Rose who had him run out of town. Ditto that with Kugler. I like Kugler’s PxP work on the Westwood One broadcasts with that moron Terry Bowden.

I’d really like to see Ricky Turco as the next Husker play-by-play guy. His incarceration is simply a minor obstacle.

I say I do it...I could talk about going up and down the court, slam dunk vs volley. A side out from time to time, and when they score I could say something like “love.”
Too bad Lyle isn’t around anymore; Kent Pavelka did a decent job.

There’s a lot of talk about “Pavelka” but I hope not. He was ok, but I just got tired of listening to him. Kugler would be fine...along with Matt Davison.

I, too, hope it’s not Pavelka. I think people have a fondness for him 10 years later that they didn’t actually have at the time. We were winning so much in the 90’s, that everything from that era stands out as positive, but I really don’t think he was that good. I’d rather look ahead for someone new, than look back for him.
