NU Miz-ery
41-6? Are you kidding me? Last time without a Touchdown since 2004? That was supposed to be one of the worst Defense’s in Division 1A. Chase Daniel not only throws for 400+ yards but runs like an old Mizzou QB, Brad Smith.
I’m done with Coach Coz. Has our D gotten progressively worse this year? It looks like it. Coach, if rushing 3 and dropping 8 back results in no pressure on the QB and their WR/TE’s are still wide open, here’s an idea...CHANGE THE GAME PLAN! Did we ever bring more than 3 guys on a pass rush throughout the game? If Coach Coz isn’t let go at the end of the season then coach Callahan needs to be held accountable. Here’s the problem, Billy C isn’t going anywhere. Save a 0’fer for the rest of the season, Coach Cally won’t be let go.
Something needs to change. Even the rosiest of rose colored glasses wearing fans has to admit that. So what is it?

Brutal. Just brutal. That is all I can say about the Huskers.
Anyway, I’m gearing up for the Green Bay game tonight. As an eternally suffering Vikings fan, I am normally not a Green Bay supporter. But you have to hand it to Favre and his performance this year so far. The man is a legend.

In my opinion you’ve brought up a major problem in college football. Joe Coach gets a head coaching job then calls all his buddies from previous jobs and offers them a job. Even if they aren’t really any good, ala Coz. Wisconsin is still thanking us for taking him and even though they lost yesterday, they’re still better on defense than we will EVER be under Coz.
He needs to go, now. Steve P. needs to be a man and realize that “mediocrity” has past us by. NU is not even that good. Steve P. needs to demand the firing of Coz.
We are really no better than a 1980’s Kansas State or Iowa State. And I personally don’t relish the thought of all the remaining games being losses. Which they could very well be.

Stevie P won’t demand that he fire Coz. I do believe that because that’s really not what he does. AD’s, including Stevie P, have never meddled with assistant coaches. That’s why I said that if Billy C doesn’t fire him then Callahan needs to go. If he isn’t smart enough to see that a change needs to be made, then he’s not smart enough to be a head coach.

Mr. T, you and me are in the same boat as being long suffering Vikings fans. I didn’t get to watch many games last year and I think that it was a good thing for me. I’m more frustrated this year because I actually get to watch them this year.

After watching the debacle on Saturday evening. It has become CRYSTAL CLEAR that changes HAVE to be done and very soon. Things like this are going to start hitting them right where it hurts. In the pocketbook. Television, fans, sales, recruitment. The list goes on and on. As for me?? I’ll be watching the games and listening on the radio. But until some changes are made I’ll be flying my Husker and Blackshirt flags upside down. For the folks who don’t know why this is. It’s because that’s the international signal for “help”. And BOY, does the Nebraska coaching staff need a LOT of this right now.
