You Think OUR Heat Problems Are Bad?

If you think it is hot here in Lincoln, be glad you don't live back East. According to 10/11, temperatures along the coast will reach an incredible 212 degrees or higher!
The extreme heat that's been roasting the eastern U.S. is only expected to get worse, and residents are bracing themselves for temperatures near and above boiling point.
Yikes!

I’m confused.  Which boiling point are they talking about?  Water’s boiling point (like you pointed out) is 212, but they don’t mention any city that is suppose to be 212 degrees.

Am I missing something?

Associated Press, so it’s a wire story.  Looks like somebody got the units of measurement switched.  Unless the east coast has switched to the metric system.
