east of Lincoln. I’ll say it’s on Hwy 6 at the Cass/Lancaster County line.
All I can tell you is that it’s not this one (conveniently located on the home page of my terribly, terribly out-of-date site).
I’d guess that all of those signs were put up between 1915 and 1925.
I’m going to say West O Street/West Highway 6.
but from the Seward county line east 16 miles is darn near East 84th street.
Hmmmmm. You make a compelling argument.
The photographer says the pic was taken just south of 14th Street and Ashland Road.
