Where in Lincoln is this?

By: Mr. T on June 14, 2010
image image image I drive by here so often I originally thought this was going to be an easy one. But based on everyone's comments, this was clearly pretty difficult. Good going Kevin! It was indeed a Lincoln landmark: the original Valentino's at 35th and Holdrege! The picture is a crop of a close up taken with a low aperture setting across the street at East Campus. This means that if Kevin is the first to correctly guess next week's picture, we will get him a pogocard. By the way, if you like this sort of Lincoln photo-geography game, be sure to check out the BEERORKID dude's "Where's Perry?" game as well. Good stuff. On a final note, I should mention that we're now on our 97th week of the "Where in Lincoln is this?" game. Be sure to tune in for the century mark in a few weeks for something a little different.

If you take off your bi-focals, turn them upside down and hold them 6 inches in front of your face it all becomes very clear.

I still don’t know where it is but I can see it better.

It looks like the Valentino’s buffet on Holdredge.

Wow! I think you are right.  Nice job. I gave up on this one thinking it was unsolvable. Perhaps we should all pitch in and buy Mr. T a camera that has auto-focus.
