Where in Lincoln is this?

image image image This was a hard one, and there was a twist (literally) involved as well. It was indeed the US Bank building on 13th and M street, possibly one of the more instantly recognizable buildings in downtown. But it was the photo of the reflection of it in the building panels across the street, and then rotated 90 degrees. You have a sharp eye there Steve, good going! This means that if Steve is the first to guess next week's Where in Lincoln photo, we will get him a pogocard.

Wow, that’s a tough one.  All I can make out are blinds and a window…I’m just going to make a wild guess.  Ferguson House on 16th & H-ish?

The only building I can thing of with vertical white lines would be Hamilton Hall.  So, if that assumption is correct, this reflection would have to be one of the buildings to the west of Hamilton.  I believe there is a add-on on the north west side of the building that may fit the bill.

Correction. I realized that the white lines were discontinuous. I am now thinking that this is the link between Oldfather and another building (I can never remember the name. Burnett?). Who knows.

That almost looks like the building across the street east of the tall bank building downtown on South 13th.  US Bank?  Used to be 1st National years ago.

Lucky for me.  I did a street view from Google to verify, but still couldn’t decide if it was right.  The 90 degree rotation had me going.  (I worked at 1st National back in the 80s.)

I’ll be sure to check next Monday first thing!

Looking at it now, it’s kind of a duh moment for me.. you can see the USBank logo in the origina… backwards, but it’s indeed there.
