*When* in Lincoln was this?

image image This one was hard. Very hard. It required pretty intimate knowledge of where the photo was taken, and when. Still, I've been very surprised before at how sharp some Lincolnites are when it comes to identifying some of these pictures, so I figured I'd put it out there. It was indeed the Antelope Valley project construction right over the Antelope Creek. Specifically, it was the construction of the Salt Creek Roadway bridge, a stone's throw from Schramm and Harper Hall at the north end of UNL City Campus. Although Kevin didn't provide a specific date, his guess was proximate enough to the general time frame, and he pretty much nailed the location. Great sleuthing Kevin! When exactly was this photo taken? Three years ago this week: November 9, 2008.

I’d guess that bridge is the one crossing the creek between the UNL city campus dorms and the Devaney Center. Up ahead is the new footbridge over to Holdredge.

Oh wait….When?!
How about…when Holdredge still went over the (awful, scary, crumbling) bridge.

Unless that graffiti is actually Latin for November 9th 2008, a specific date would have been a bit difficult to pin down.

Heh heh. Well, I wasn’t expecting an exact date, but more a “general time frame”.
