I'm getting this information third-hand so get those grains of salt ready, but I've been told that Mr. Leno near 70th and O is soon to become Lina's. I know not all of you are crazy about Lina's, but as I have mentioned several times, my family enjoys going there fairly regularly. If this is true, congratulations to the folks behind Lina's for their success!

Whaa? As in, Mr. Leno’s will become a second branch of Lina’s? Or Lina’s is moving out of their current location to Mr. Leno’s location?
Lina’s is awesome.
The few times that I’ve been to Tina/Lina’s, there have been only 2-3 tables full of people, at the height of dinner hour, on a Saturday. Is it really successful enough already to expand? So we’d have Tina/Lina’s and Leno/Lena’s? Mind boggling.
Has anyone got the story on the Lina / Tina thang?
Yeah, Tina’s Cafe didn’t like it. I talked to the owner of Lina’s and he rolled his eyes and said “I didn’t want to fight it so I just changed the name.”
