Tenth Street’s Turning Trucks Take Note
The rerouting of left turn traffic at 10th and Van Dorn is nearly complete. The new lanes are scheduled to open tomorrow. It’s a very unusual setup, but then, it’s not your every day intersection. It will be interesting to see how well traffic adjusts to the new setup. If you travel near that intersection regularly, let us know what you think of the new lanes, signage, light patterns, and so on.

Just from the picture of the concept, it looks like it might be somewhat confusing if you’re turning left from 9th St to go east on Van Dorn. Other than that it looks pretty good.

Been out of town until today. Now been through the intersection twice. Smooth sailing both times. I wonder how well things are lit at night? I wonder about how well the median shows up on the north-bound side?
