I park at the Marketplace garage, so I got to see this on my way to work this morning.  LPD didn’t have the body covered up too well, so those wanting to catch a glimpse of a dead person were more than welcome to.  It would be an interesting spot to kill yourself, though one’s first thought may be that he jumped off the top of the garage.  I hope not, because that’s where I park.  Besides, he was a little far from the garage, he would have basically had to get a running start and jump off, which is impossible for pretty much anyone but LeBron James.

That area of town has always been sketchy, and the removal of the bus station didn’t help any.  I’ve had a couple tense encounters with people there, and have always seen people of the shady variety hanging out.  It wouldn’t surprise me if someone was murdered there.

The death has been ruled a suicide. The victim was a 19 year-old male.

looks like they changed the link on ya

I remember around christmas many years back a student jumped from the parking garage on 11th and P.  Was working at Crane River at the time and it was right in front of our back door.

Strange cuz you would not think the garages are as tall as you would want to be to do that.

I guess he was LeBron James afterall.  Not sure what to think, knowing that he jumped mere feet from where I park my car every day.
