Raspberries to Jon Camp, Closet Commie

August 12, 2009 at 8:30am By: Mr. Wilson Posted in The Lincolnite Blog

No, Jon Camp probably isn’t really a Commie pinko* (as far as we know!). But he is in Russia right now, meaning he missed the public hearing on the budget and he will miss the final vote on the budget. That’s lame, Jon. Very, very lame.

* Can I help it that I grew up around Major Burns and Colonel Flagg?

Somebody needs to run against and take him out in 2011. His conflicts of interest have bothered me for a long time, but this is a new low. This absence is a slap in the face to Lincolnites.

Someone needs to either photoshop Camp’s head on that picture of Putin on the beach from a few years ago or photoshop him into the picture next to Putin.

If it was John Cook he’d be praised for sacrificing his vote to broaden his oversea horizons.

Deena obviously doesn’t know that Russia is beautiful this time of year. wink

At least he’s not calling it a “fact-finding” trip. I realize this is an important issue, but I’ll leave it between him and his constituents. It doesn’t really bother me.

I refer to people as Commie pinko’s all the time. That cracked me up.

I was a tad afraid that you let Deena write this blog entry for you, however.

What? No joke references to Mark Sanford? I’m disappointed in you guys.

Seriously, why would he schedule a vacation at a time when he knows there will be budget hearings? That really is lame.

I considered the Mark Sanford thing, but at least Camp paid for this trip himself.
